Introducing Snap Shots from Snap.com
I just installed a nice little tool on this site called Snap Shots that enhances links with visual previews of the destination site, interactive excerpts of Wikipedia articles, MySpace profiles, IMDb profiles and Amazon products, display inline videos, RSS, MP3s, photos, stock charts and more.
Sometimes Snap Shots bring you the information you need, without your having to leave the site, while other times it lets you "look ahead," before deciding if you want to follow a link or not.
Should you decide this is not for you, just click the Options icon in the upper right corner of the Snap Shot and opt-out.

I am pleased to announce that we have two new evaluators on board! I am happy to announce that they are Bill Morgen and Susan MacArthur!

May 26th

Our award prgram has been given an initial rating of 9.0 with the Belgica Excellence Index. This is a new index so receiving such a high rating was a real confidence boost! We must be doing something right!

May 13th

Today is the day I have launcehd the new design. I got a little tired of white type on black so I have given the design a fresher look. I do hope you like it?!

April 15th

I am very proud to say that today I was accepted as a certified I.W.A.R.A evaluator.

March 28th

I have added some new free graphics to the graphics studio, including gold png graphics. Take a look and have fun with them!

Today is a great day for The Firestarter Awards as we are very proud to announce that we have been rated 5.0 with Award Sites! It is an achievement that I am very proud of indeed!

January 19th

The Firestarter Awards are very proud to announce that we have been rated with the highest level of 5.0 with the F.R.I. Award Index.

January 10th

A decision has been made as to the winner of our coveted Site Of The Year award. The winner is Jerrly Hartzler, owner of The Ol' Hook & Eye. A hearty congratulations goes out to our winner! - Well done Jerry.

Happy New Year to all who's reading! Well a new year is upon us and after a well earned rest the team at Firestarter Awards are set and ready to go. I have updated the statisitcs and added new pages ready for the new award winnwers. The Site of the Year will be announced around the 10th - 14th January. So keep you eyes peeled to view the worthy winner.
