Gold Award

Honours websites that excel in talent, design and content. Their innovation and creativity offer an outstanding contribution to the World Wide Web. 90 - 100 points of the criteria have been achieved. All winners will have a screenshot taken of their homepage and will be proudly displayed along with a description and laudation for two years. After this time it will join the archive with a link and description. All gold winners are short listed to be selected for the coveted Site of the Year.

Silver Award

Presented to sites that display quality in both design and content. Many points of the criteria have been met, scoring 79 - 89 points. Winning sites will have a text link and short description displayed for two years, before being added to the archive.

Bronze Award

Presented to sites that display a good design and have interesting content. These webmasters show great promise and are actively encouraged to continue in their development with the possibility of acheiving a higher rating at a later date. 68 - 78 points of the criteria have been met. Winning sites will have a text link and short description displayed for two years, before being added to the archive.

Site Of The Year

This site will display excellence in design, informative content, is well maintained and fulfils the purpose of the Firestarter Award Program. The winning site will be selected from webmasters who have acheived the gold award throughout the year. This precious and unique award is our highest accolade. The decision will be made in December and the winner announced in January.

Artsite Award

Honours artists that display expertise in their chosen medium and provide a unique insight into their work. It is presented in it's own merit or alongside the Firestarter Award if the applicant has chosen to do so. The site will have acheived at least 68 points from the criteria to qualifiy for assessment. All winners will have a screenshot, description and laudation proudly displayed for two years before being added to the archive.

Friendship Award

This award cannot be won it is given to webmasters and mistresses who have become internet friends along the way. It is a valuable gift as is the hand of friendship. My design of an elephant has been chosen for this award as elephants never forget!
